My name is Hannah Sommers, I am sure you are wondering who I am and why I am so passionate with what I do and why I created these programs for you. So, here is a little background about me.
Growing up I was never the super skinny girl or the one that could eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound. In fact, I have always struggled with my weight always fluctuating, losing weight with fad diets and gaining it at all back. It was a never ending cycle for me. About 5 years ago, I had been at my highest weight yet. I decided I wanted to make a change. I was sick of looking in the mirror and hating what I saw. Finally, I decided to do something about it. I found a Fitness Coach that specialized in NPC Bikini Competitions. I had 2 months to prepare for this show. Through those 2 months I literally KILLED myself to lose enough weight to get in that stage with confidence. I was doing HOURS of cardio, with very little food. Having no knowledge on losing weight the healthy way, I was convinced this was the only way to make it happen. I lost over 40 pounds in 2 months. I was so excited I had lost all this weight, I didn’t even care or know my body was shutting down from lack of nutrition. My metabolism was shot, and anything I ate after that show turned into a pound of fat...
So, of course I felt like I had to keep competing to keep this weight off. Over the next few years I continued to compete. I would lose a bunch of weight fast just to rebound and gain it all back. My body hated me and so did my self-confidence.
After my last competition, I decided I was no longer going to compete and eat boring meal prepped food every single day. There had to be a better way to be HEALTHY and still live a normal lifestyle with yummy food involved. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a typical body building meal plan, but it is very BLAND and boring. I wasn’t even allowed to use seasonings. It was AWFUL.
So, I did my research on counting macros, what my body should be consuming, how much, etc. I started looking up unhealthy meals and finding ways to adjust the recipe to make it healthy and delicious for me. I became obsessed with meal prepping each week and trying make up new recipes to make things fun and easy to stay on track. Meal prepping became some form of art I guess you could say. It was a new challenge for me, what new recipe can I make this week?
Currently, I do not compete or follow any sort of strict diet. I genuinely enjoy eating healthy, working out on a regular basis and living a well balanced lifestyle. I believe everyone should understand that losing weight or being healthy in general should not be a chore for you. You should enjoy every moment of it, enjoy the process.
I designed this program to show you that eating healthy & working out can be fun, easy, and REWARDING! Both of my programs are REALISTIC and what I mean by that is, I do not believe you have to go to major extremes to get your dream body. I believe it should be simple and enjoyable. I want you to LOVE your new lifestyle. Coming from my past, I would not change a thing and I believe you will feel the same after you recieve my SommerBod Program.
